The Orphan Prophet Raised in Allāh’s Courtﷺ

The Nafs is inclined to extremist tendencies by nature
Islam came to subdue those extremist tendencies
The one who uses the outer shell of Islam
To feed the whims and desires of his Nafs
Is bereft of its expansive inner dimensions
Subjected and enslaved to literalism and forms
Bereft of its mercy and metamorphic properties
Deprived from the Lights bursting through Proximity
The Soul is an orphan
Distanced from the Presence of its Lord
That cheating one is starving his Soul
To feed his capricious lower-self
Like the one who takes food from the table of the orphan
To feed the merciless tyrant
Do not abandon the one in need
Allāh is with the oppressed
With the weak and helpless
“But you do not honor the orphan
And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.” ¹
No one was more compassionate towards the needy
Than Muḥammadﷺ
No one was more present for the orphans
Than Muḥammadﷺ
No one was more tender with the weak
Than Muḥammadﷺ
The Orphan Prophetﷺ, the son of ʿAbdullāh,
Was taken into the care of Allāh, the Lord of ʿAbdullāh
Muḥammadﷺ, the Mercy to Mankindﷺ, was raised at the Lord’s House
Raised in Allāh’s Courtﷺ
O Allāh – send abundant peace and blessings upon himﷺ
Muḥammadﷺ, the Most Worthy of the title ‘Servant of Allāh’ﷺ
And bless his Noble Family and Companionsﷺ – O Loving One
