The student of Imam Malik, ‘Abdullahi ibn Wahb {May Allah have mercy upon them} said:
When Imam Malik {May Allah have mercy upon him} issued a legal ruling, he would say:
“We deem it not but conjecture and we are, by no means, sure.“
{Qur’an ~ 45:32}
