Imam Shafi’i رحمه الله narrated: “When some of the people of desires {fitna makers} came to Imam Malik ibn Anas رحمه الله he said:
” As for me, then I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and my Deen. And as for you, then you are in doubt, so go to a doubter and argue with him.”
