‘Abdullahi ibn Masud said concerning Caliph ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab:
“Whatever path ‘Umar chose, we found it easy to follow.”
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha said:
“In regard to the Sunnah of the Prophet, Umar was the most knowledgeable.”
The same was said concerning Ibn ‘Umar.
