Protecting One’s Deen

The Hadith master = Hafiz Khatib al-Baghdadi {May Allah send His Divine Mercy upon him} reports that Sayyiduna ‘Ali ibn ‘Abi Talib {May Allah be well pleased with him) once said in the Masjid of Kufa, Iraq:

“Inquire about the people from whom you are receiving this knowledge. Truly this is your Deen {so protect it}.”
