The Best Manners

“We have revealed the reminder to you in order that you explain to the people what has been revealed to them, that perhaps they may reflect.” {Qur’an, 16:44}

“Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have the most beautiful pattern of conduct, for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much.” {Qur’an, 33:21}

“There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.” {Qur’an, 9:128}

When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it; or {at least} return it equally. {Qur’an, 4:86}

“So fear Allah and keep straight the relations between yourselves” {Qur’an, 8:1}

“And speak nicely to people.” {Qur’an, 2:83}

‘Abdullahi ibn ‘Amr narrated that the Prophet {Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him} was never obscene or coarse. Rather, he used to tell us that the best among us were those with the best manners.”
